Activenet Solutions can provide a full fibre optic cable installation, from initial design through to termination, testing and certification. Our skilled engineers use our own in-house fusion splicing and testing systems to provide a cost-effective and reliable fibre network solution.
Our fibre optic installs are based around either of the two major types of fibre, namely Single-Mode (OS1/OS2) and Multi-Mode (OM1, 2, 3, 4+). Each comes with its own advantages and disadvantages that can be discussed during the planning process if required.

Activenet Data Solutions Ltd started in 2000, with the business plan being to provide reliable and cost-effective network infrastructure solutions to organisations large and small throughout the South East of England.
Today 25 years later every organisation has numerous network connected devices and needs to be connected to the outside world so a solid network infrastructure is essential to the smooth running and future efficiency of any organisation. Activenet is able to offer a 'one stop shop', from free consultation and design, right the way through to installation and testing of the final solution.
We offer comprehensive physical cabling solutions covering not only Ethernet based Cat5e, Cat6 and Cat6a copper networks, but also fibre optic cabling including in-house fusion splicing equipment and testing services to give the highest performance and reliability. By partnering with our trusted suppliers, we can also offer product warranties lasting up to 25 years using the Excel product range from Mayflex UK (certificate available upon request).
In recent years, many organisations have realised that the networks that used to be just for connecting computer systems together are now also the ideal choice for connecting together IP based CCTV and Wi-Fi solutions. We can therefore also offer solutions for both systems in addition to running the cables to support them if required.
We also take the Health & Safety of both our staff and customers seriously, and as such our staff receive regular training as required to operate ladders, access equipment, asbestos awareness and confined space training. All our installation engineers have DBS certificates for working in areas that need that cover such as schools, sports centres and similar settings.
